Swansea sign Dutch goalkeeper Erwin Mulder on free transfer





Swansea manager Paul Clement has made Dutch goalkeeper Erwin Mulder his first signing of the summer.

Swansea have signed Dutch goalkeeper Erwin Mulder on a free transfer, the Premier League club have announced.
The 28-year-old arrives at the Liberty Stadium having turned down a new contract at Eredivisie club Heerenveen, for whom he played for the last two years.
Mulder has signed a three-year deal and becomes Swansea manager Paul Clement's first signing of the summer.

A 16 year old teenager identified as Abdulmalik Yau of Durbi Ta-Kusheyi village in Mani Local Government Area has been accused of raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl in Katsina state. Abdulmalik was yesterday arraigned before the  magistrates’ court in Katsina State.  The accused is said to have been living in the same house with the victim when the act was perpetrated. The victim's father, Murtala Lawal, reported the matter to the police amd the suspect was subsequently arrested. He was arraigned before the court for rape  which is contrary to Section 283 of the Penal Code.   The presiding Magistrate, Fadila Dikko, told the accused that the case was only brought before the court for cognisance as the court had no jurisdiction to hear the case . New US Citizens Receive Welcome Letter Signed By Pres. Barack Obama

A twitter user whose husband just became a US citizen shared the mistake U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made on the welcome letter given to new US citizens. In the welcome letter, the new citizens were congratulated by former US president Barack Obama's signature instead of current US president, Donald Trump's. She tweeted: "My British-born husband takes his oath of citizenship today. In the packet for new Americans, the welcome letter from POTUS is from Obama". According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, roughly 200 of these letters have been sent out due to an administration error. A total of 300,000 applications for citizenship have been approved since Trump's inauguration.  Consequently, USCIS press secretary Gillian Christensen has called the mistake an administrative oversight.
