Midfielder Troare, who captains the France Under-17 side, spent last season on loan at amateur side Sarcelles.

Troare will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford and Pogba by graduating from the United academy.

United are also due to play another MLS side, Real Salt Lake, in Utah before taking on Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona in International Champions Cup fixtures in Houston, San Francisco and Washington DC.

MirrorSport understands Mourinho has instructed Luke Shaw and Ashley Young to go even though they are unlikely to be fully fit.

The duo had expected to stay in the UK to continue their rehabilitation while the rest of United’s squad went away. But Mourinho has expressly demanded all the squad spend time together in USA to help bond and assist any new signings to integrate.
